The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin congratulated the KAMAZ-Master team on their victory in the Dakar-2020 Rally.

You confidently went through all the stages of these legendary competitions, showed perseverance, team cohesion, focus on results. Your triumph has become a real gift for numerous fans.

I wish you new achievements and good luck in sports. V. Putin,” the text of the government telegram says.

The breathtaking race in Saudi Arabia, which lasted almost two weeks, has come to its end!

According to the results of all the stages in the overall trucks standings, Andrey Karginov (KAMAZ-Master) confidently took the first place with a total result of 46:33:36!
Anton Shibalov’s crew (KAMAZ-Master) came in second, losing to the leader 42:26 min.
On 3rd place – Sergey Vyazovich (MAZ, Belarus), behind the leader by 2:04:42 hours.
Dmitry Sotnikov (KAMAZ-Master) was fourth with a time of 49:29:04.

Andrey Karginov’s crew won the 8th stage of the Dakar-2020 Rally. He finished it in 4 hours, 24 minutes, 58 seconds. Anton Shibalov who lost 5 minutes 54 seconds is in the second place. Czech Ales Loprais finished third in the Praga V4S DKR (+00: 09:06).

In the overall standings, Karginov is in the lead, which increased the gap from Shibalov to 27 minutes 6 seconds. Sergey Vyazovich (MAZ, Belarus), who is in third place, concedes more than an hour.
