This week, KAMAZ will begin vaccinating its employees against coronavirus infection. The procedure will be free and voluntary.
According to Alexander Ushenin, Deputy General Director for Personnel Management and Organizational Development, there is an agreement with the City Health Department to allocate 2000 doses of the Sputnik V vaccine against coronavirus infection to KAMAZ. According to the results of the survey, about 3.5 thousand employees of KAMAZ are already ready to be vaccinated.
«With the Head of the Health Department of Naberezhnye Chelny, Alexander Nikolaev, we agreed that paramedics from city polyclinics will come to the factory medical posts to vaccinate KAMAZ residents, – explained Alexander Ushenin. – Vaccination at work will allow our employees not to be distracted from work and not to spend time and money on trips to clinics».
The Head also noted that the company’s medical centers are ready for the procedure: repairs were made and the necessary refrigeration equipment was purchased (the drug requires strict storage conditions at a temperature no higher than minus 18 °C). The start of vaccination depends on the time of receipt of the vaccine in the city. The vaccination campaign is scheduled to start this week, according to requests from the departments. As soon as the vaccine is available, all requests will be fulfilled.
