Today, on March 24, KAMAZ was visited by a delegation of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
The delegation included Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, his deputies Ivan Kolchin and Aleksey Savelchev, as well as the heads of Tatneft, SIBUR, Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding, Kazan National Research Technological University, and representatives of KAMAZ supplier companies.
Accompanied by top managers of KAMAZ, the members of the delegation got acquainted with modern production technologies and the range of the company’s products. An exhibition of K3 generation vehicles and popular trucks of the new model range was organized at the truck assembly plant. The guests were also shown the operation of the cab assembly line and the main assembly line.
The final point of the business program was a meeting on the development of cooperation and the development of materials within the framework of import substitution and the manufacture of components for the needs of KAMAZ PTC, which was held in the general directorate of the company.
