53 years ago, on December 13, 1969, the first bucket of earth was removed at the construction site of the future automobile plant in Naberezhnye Chelny. This day became the starting point in the history of the Kama Automobile Plant, it is considered to be the official date of the start of construction of KAMAZ.
Now, 53 years after the beginning of history, KAMAZ PTC is a recognized leader of the Russian market in the supply of products and the development of the latest technologies. Over the years, more than 2.4 million vehicles have been produced. KAMAZ trucks are operated in more than 80 countries around the world.
