The KAMAZ-54901 vehicle was presented at the exhibition timed to the International Municipal BRICS+ Forum held in Saint Petersburg at the end of the week.
The KAMAZ-54901 represents a new generation of the KAMAZ trucks. The flagship of KAMAZ sets a benchmark of efficiency, comfort and dependability. The vehicle is meant for interurban and international transportation as part of a road train with various semitrailers (from ordinary curtainsider semitrailers and refrigerators to specialized lowboys and grain carriers).
The long-haul truck tractor of the K5 generation is equipped with an engine KAMAZ-910.15-450 generating 450 hp and with torque 2300 N⋅m. The use of the latest high-tech design solutions enabled to increase service schedule to 120 thousand km and engine lifetime to 1.5 mn km, while lowering fuel consumption by 10% in comparison with vehicles of the previous generation.
The International Municipal BRICS+ Forum is a large-scale business event focused on assistance in socio-economic development of territories, arranging business communications, and attracting investments into regions and municipal cities of BRICS countries and partner states. The forum has been taking place in Saint Petersburg since 2019 and offers an opportunity to find business partners, present products and services, investment projects, for their consideration by potential investors.
