Yury Gerasimov became the winner of the republican public competition Manager of the Year 2022 in the nomination For High Social Responsibility. The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition took place at the Korston GTRK in Kazan on December 23. It was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of Tatarstan, and Aleksey Pesoshin, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In 2021-2022, Yury Gerasimov worked as Chairman of the Board of Directors of TZA PTC. During this period, more than 300 new jobs were created at the Tuimazinskiy Zavod Avtobetonovozov, work was carried out to optimize the property complex, the share of products with high added value is successfully being increasing, foreign materials and imported components are being replaced with local analogues, as well as expensive components are being replaced with components and parts of Russian design and production. During 2022, the company’s priority initiatives were to ensure a smooth transition of the industry to domestic analogues. Under the leadership of the top manager, the KAMAZ subsidiary has implemented urgent projects aimed at achieving the technological sovereignty of the country, meeting demand at the expense of domestic products.
