In today’s difficult conditions, caused by the spread of coronavirus and the decline in oil prices and the dropping ruble exchange rate, the Republic is taking a set of measures to develop the economy.

This was stated today by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting of the Republican operational staff.
The event was held at the site of the company “KAMAZ” in Naberezhnye Chelny.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the Republic has established an operational headquarters for countering coronavirus pandemic, which operates on a daily basis.

The Republican plan of preventive measures, which implemented a number of measures in transport (there is enhanced control of staying out of other countries), educational institutions (students transferred to distance learning), healthcare has been approved.

In addition, all mass events were canceled.
“Now it is important that our companies are actively involved in this work. “KAMAZ” is an example. The plant uses personal protective equipment and antiseptics, employees who arrived from other countries are quarantined for two weeks, and specialists work remotely if possible. Such measures should be implemented in all organizations of the Republic. People’s health is the greatest value, ” the President of the Republic of Tatarstan stressed.
