KamAZ 45141-10 - a dump truck designed for transportation of bulk, construction cargo. The machine is ready for transportation on roads with hard surface, soil, technological surface. The car was developed by specialists of the Kama automobile plant.
45141-10 is presented in two versions. The difference is in the number of beds. In one it is, in the other it is absent. KamAZ 45141 is equipped with a cabin made of high-strength metal alloy. The cabin is inclined above the engine. The rise is possible due to the hydraulic lift, but for the convenience of the driver (in order to avoid excessive noise), the cabin is closed by thermal insulation.
KAMAZ 45141 is equipped with a box-type all-metal platform withstanding significant masses. There are welded elements, the front side with a slope, a protective visor to prevent the loss of cargo. At the rear there is a tiltable opening side. The machine can withstand unloading in all seasons, this is helped by platform heating with gas exhausts. The material does not freeze.
The mechanism of the truck allows the platform to move. The rise is due to the three-stage hydraulic cylinder. Even distribution of the loaded cargo is possible to control the hydraulic cylinder from the driver's cab.
Model 45141 has a powerful eight-cylinder diesel engine KAMAZ 740.13-260 (Euro-1). There are turbocharging and cooling of the charge air. The cylinders are placed in the shape of the letter V. When the crankshaft rotates at a frequency of 2200 rpm, the rated power is 260 hp.
When rotating at 1400 rpm. torque is 1058 Nm. Engine displacement for work - 10.90 l. There are 2 fuel tanks of 210 liters. Compared with other dump trucks of the Kama automobile plant, the model 45141-10 has an acceptable fuel consumption: at minus temperature - 36, 9 liters, in the summer months - 33, 5 liters.
Four-wheel drive allows the car to cope with the delivery of goods on the road. Thanks to its high wheelbase, the 45141 easily overcomes deep pits. The dump truck is equipped with a reliable friction-type double-disc clutch that works through a drive with a hydraulic pneumatic booster.
The transmission is mechanical. To simplify the management of the machine, it has 10 steps, an easy transition along which provides a lever. The transfer case has 2 steps, you can block the center differential. It is controlled pneumatically. Transmission transmission - the lowest with an indicator of 1.693, the second (highest) - 0.916.
Disc wheels, pneumatic type tires, with auto-balancing of internal pressure. Rim dimensions: 12.1 - 20.8 (310 -533). Diameter, tire size: 425/85 R21.
