Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with the CEO of KAMAZ PТC Sergey Kogogin at his residence in the Kazan Kremlin.
During the working meeting, the head of KAMAZ reported to the head of the Republic about the results of the company’s work in 2019 and on its long-term plans for 2020. Last year “KAMAZ” has made 34,7 thousand trucks, the company’s share on the Russian market of heavy trucks amounted to 44.2%.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted the contribution of KAMAZ and its management to strengthening the socio-economic potential of the Republic and presented Sergey Kogogin the state award of the Republic of Tatarstan — “100 years of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic” medal.
The year of 2020 in Tatarstan is declared the year of the 100th anniversary of the TASSR. The new state award – “100 years of TASSR” medal – approved by the Presidential decree from 12 October 2019. The medal is awarded to citizens who have made a significant contribution to the development of Tatarstan’s statehood, strengthening its potential, inter-ethnic and inter-confessional peace and harmony, who have merit in professional and public activities and contribute to increasing the authority of the Republic.
