Today, the numerous winner of the Dakar supermarathon, the KAMAZ-master team, celebrates its 30th anniversary. In honor of the anniversary of the KAMAZ racing team in Naberezhnye Chelny, a solemn event will be held, in which the government of the republic, representatives of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, numerous fans and veterans of the legendary team will take part. Russian President Vladimir Putin also sent his congratulations to KAMAZ-master.

“Your outstanding achievements are a well-deserved reward for skill, character and daily hard work,” the message says. The head of state also notes the contribution of the famous team to the technological development of KAMAZ in particular, and the Russian car industry as a whole.

The KAMAZ-master team, founded in 1988, is known as a numerous medalist and fifteen times winner of the Dakar supermarathon. It includes five winners of the World Cup, 15 international-class masters of sports, 11 honored masters of sports of Russia, 14 masters of sports.
